As ANZAC Day draws near, we’re reminded of the integral role Horses have played in our history. More than 136,000 travelled from Australia to the battlefields of World War I.
At Aquis Park and Aquis Beaudesert, ANZAC Day is special annual calendar event honouring those brave Men, Women and Horses who served their country.
Our history is rich in ANZAC spirit with Aquis Beaudesert Race Club being utilised as a camp ground and entertainment venue for hundreds of Troopers of the famous Light Horse Brigade during Wold War II.
Befittingly, in 2020, Aquis Beaudesert will present the annual ANZAC Day Races on Saturday 25 April. Racegoers will experience the ultimate in country racing with live TAB races, a new country luncheon dining experience and family friendly activities for all to enjoy.
Free shuttle buses from the Gold Coast and main town of Beaudesert will operate on the day. Free gate entry and sausage sizzle till 12:30pm, Adults $10 onwards. All Service Men, Women and Veterans will receive complimentary entry all day. Head trackside this ANZAC Day.
