The brand new Gold Coast Event Centre is the new home of events on the Gold Coast.

Located within the Gold Coast Turf Club precinct the 2,500 square metre venue is an impressive structure that can host over 2,000 guests and possesses spectacular Gold Coast skyline panoramic views reaching from Main Beach to Burleigh.

There are very few venues on the Gold Coast that can cater for a diverse range of events, exhibitions, conferences, expos and gala dinners required by an ever changing Event industry however the Gold Coast Event Centre was specifically designed and created with this level of demand commanded by local, interstate and international clients.

Rectangular in shape the Event Centre function space incorporates 2,000 square metres of uninterrupted floor space with 90metres of glass panels overlooking the Gold Coast skyline.

The Event Centre includes two main separate guest entry foyers with 20m display screens above each entrance, which are visible from the carpark and roadside. Clients are welcome to supply artwork and/or Company logo’s to be displayed on the screens to direct and inform their event guests on arrival.

An impressive pillarless venue footprint allows for a wide ranging series of floorplans and opportunities for any number of events to be hosted within the four walls of the centre. From exhibitions and expos to gala dinners to large scale equipment displays this venue can accommodate any style and type of event imaginable.

Internally the brand new Gold Coast Event Centre venue contains:

  • Operable wall located in the middle of the venue to divide the venue in half
  • Data projector and motorised smart screen (located on the northern wall)
  • Multiple plasma TV’s available for client presentations
  • State of the art AV system including paging system
  • Multiple floorboxes providing power and data access to screens and TV’s located throughout venue
  • Male and female bathroom amenities
  • Separate disabled bathroom amenities
  • Large back of house kitchen space
  • Double servery area centrally positioned
  • 6m roller door and loading dock
  • Multiple rigging points (1tonne – 2.5tonne per point)strategically located throughout the roof
  • Access to 10amp, 15amp and 3 phase power outlets
  • Brand new high powered Air-conditioning
  • 1m x 1m charcoal carpet tile floor covering
  • Concrete flooring (with carpet tiles removed)
  • Access for Forklifts and scissor lifts

Also located within the building is a specially created Mezzanine level which overlooks the entire function venue floor space. This level includes:

  • Event office space
  • Dedicated AV room
  • Storage facilities (accessed via forklift)

State of the art internal audio visual system allows for use of a selection of audio visual equipment for a variety of functions and events.

Access to the system is available for external specialist companies to plug in and utilise existing equipment and services as well as add in event specific equipment to enhance the audio visual experience throughout the venue.

For even larger scale events the Gold Coast Event Centre combined with a number of the Gold Coast Turf Club Corporate Suite facilities, breakout rooms and hard stand facilities and services now available in the carpark, the Bundall precinct is the ideal location to host indoor/outdoor events.
