Gold Coast Turf Club embraces spring fashion

Fashionable fillies will be putting their best foot forward for the Spring Racing Carnival at the Gold Coast Turf Club. 

Secret fashion scouts will be onsite at the Club for the Spring Carnival key racing dates to find the two most stylish punters of the day.  The best dressed man and woman on each raceday will be selected from the crowd.

Both winners will receive a Marina Mirage prize, 6 tickets to the Melbourne Cup Day at the Gold Coast Turf Club (worth over $200), plus will be automatically semi-finalists in the Marina Mirage Fashions On The Field for Melbourne Cup Day at the Gold Coast Turf Club.

Marketing & Events Executive, Nikki Kay, is excited about the fashion this year.  “Fashion is always such an important part of racing, and spring is always the best season,” she says. “For Melbourne Cup this year, we will have a dedicated fashion and beauty precinct to cater for punters courting a touch of glamour for the races.  Cosmetics experts and beauticians will be in a luxurious marquee on the Fountain Lawn beside the Fashions on the Field stage, to service patrons during the day.  And of course, the Marina Mirage Fashions On The Field competition is a major feature of the day!”

Registration for the Marina Mirage Fashions On The Field competition will take place on Melbourne Cup raceday between 11:00am and 12:00pm, with heats starting at 12:20pm.  Registration is free to enter, and both lads and ladies are encouraged to attend.

Marina Mirage will be providing a stunning array of prizes for the best male, best female and best hat/fascinator.
